Weather

Kerala, the magical land of God, is one of the most beautiful places on earth, filled with tropical beaches, coconut trees, shimmering backwaters, a tropical climate, a rich cultural tradition, and elephants. It is one of the best places to plan a vacation, especially in November, when the temperature ranges between 32 and 23 degrees Celsius, making it ideal weather for exploring 'God's own land to the fullest.'

Itinerary

Arrive at Cochin Airport or Railway station, where you will be greeted by our representative / Driver, after a short introduction you will be escorted to your hotel.

Afternoon you can go for the sightseeing of Cochin. Here you can see the St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500 year-old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. Evening go for shopping. Overnight stay in Cochin.

Today after your breakfast, embark on your drive to Munnar, navigating your way through the lush green countryside, cheerful people, and small towns and villages en-route. Under the British Raj, Munnar was popularly called ‘Switzerland of India' for its natural surroundings and cool climate. The entire area is occupied by thick forests and tea estates. The specialty of Munnar is jungle honey, tea and a rare flower ‘Neela Kurunji’ which blooms once in 12 years.

This morning, After breakfast, continue sightseeing - The Rajamalai - a top peak of Munnar, watch beautiful mist-kissing romantic Green Meadows, Mind-Blowing Hills sleeping under Green Carpet (Tea Gardens), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Enjoy boating in the lake & Tea Plantations.

Morning drive to Thekkady through cardamom hills. Check into the Resort. After lunch visit spice plantation like cardamom, pepper, coffee, and tea estate etc. On the way back to hotel you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices.

If you’re an animal lover, you will absolutely love Thekkady. The dense jungles and greenery have transformed it into India’s largest wildlife sanctuaries. The Periyar Tiger Reserve is home to one of Great Indian Tiger. If you’re lucky, you might just spot one dropping by a lake for a thirst break. Feel like you’re top on the world by opting for elephant rides through the dense forests. Over 320 species of birds, 160 varieties of butterflies co-exist in their natural habitat amidst the jungles of Thekkady. A visit to the numerous cardamom and tea estates dotting the landscape is yet another highlight of Kerala tour packages. Keep an eye out for exotic spices at unbelievably cheap prices while you go wandering about in the local markets.

This morning, drive to Alleppey, a coastal town in the backwaters of Kerala. Upon arrival in Alleppey, board your houseboat to cruise through the backwaters. Kerala backwaters consist of a complex network of lagoons, lakes, & canals and are best experienced while slowly rowing down the labyrinth of canals in a traditional thatch-roofed houseboat, known as 'Kettuvallam'. Discover the daily life along the backwaters and watch the circle of life in endless shades of green. Enjoy the comfort of a floating suite, relax and discover the flavors of Kerala served on the sundeck as the fascinating life along the waterfront passes by.
